[ YEAR 2011-2012 ]
Kenny Rogers ROASTERS (KRR) planned to launch its I Love i.Care I Share campaign nationwide, and wanted to hold a contest that leverages on social media to promote awareness for its new reusable i.Care food containers (boxes).
WHAT WE DID
Techmaki was engaged to create a contest in the form of a Facebook application – a social game that encouraged its customers to share virtual i.Care boxes as gifts with friends to score points. The most active gift-givers were rewarded with real prizes from KRR at the end of the five-week contest period.
KRR had less than 8,000 fans from the time it launched its Facebook Page in 2009 to before the contest began. In just five weeks, over 84,000 virtual i.Care boxes were exchanged amongst 20,000 Facebook users. Alone, our app effectively helped KRR convert over 4,000 new fans, enabling it to breach the significant 10,000 fan mark on Facebook.

Note: Since the campaign ended in 2011, the app is no longer being maintained and has ceased to be active.
